Soooo y'all, we're remodeling our bathroom. My husband made a new light fixture out of some of this black iron pipe. When we took out the tile toilet paper holder that didn't match the new vibe we were going for, I had him create a new one. He used the same black iron pipe to match this new Farmhouse/Industrial Style, and y'all I LOVE IT!!!! Here is what this project required (all 1/2"):
He had to use a grinder with the wire brush attachment to remove the coating off the nipples before they could be painted. When done it will look like the picture below. He took some Rustoleum Satin Protective Enamel and spray painted it and left it to dry (He actually screwed it to an old board so it would stay put while he sprayed it and while it dried.) This EASY project was inexpensive, so adorable, and turned out great! This is the finished project. It goes great with the vibe I was trying to create in our bathroom. If this is your style...try making one...it's cheap, easy and turns out awesome! Let me know if you try! Thanks for reading, and be sure to share this project with your friends and give us a like if you enjoyed it.
XOXO Jen
